Holy Cow - Microsoft Propagandists are EVERYWHERE!!!
Do you know what open-source software is? Generally speaking, it's software that isn't really owned by any one company and can often be obtained for free. Linux has rapidly transformed into a powerful competitor of Microsoft's tragically flawed Windows operating system. PHP and MySQL are open-source programs used for advanced scripting and databases.

Anyway, Bill Gates HATES open-source software, and many open-source fans hate Bill Gates. But you'd never guess it by visiting certain open-source websites. I've long been struck by the fact that some open-source groups are so pro-Microsoft. It doesn't make any sense - unless they've been infiltrated by Microsoft. That DOES make sense.

To see what I mean, check out the conversation on this thread:

One simple post, and the Microsofties immediately pounced. Sheez!

3. Hate cannot drive out hate
It seems you had problems finding support from David Horton also.

David Horton

I would suggest toning down the "Viva la revolution" rhetoric a little and concentrate on taking a low-key approach to getting your message out. If you come on too strong people are likely to file your words away under the same heading they use for T.V. Preachers and Pro Wrestlers. Consider the words of Martin Luther King Jr. who said, "Hate cannot drive out hate. Only love can do that." Don't show people how to hate Microsoft, show them how to love open-source.

5. Oh, I remember that post...
It sounded pretty much like all the others. I can't remember how I replied, probably something like this...

"I would suggest toning down the "Viva la revolution" rhetoric a little and concentrate on taking a low-key approach to getting your message out."

But then no one listens at all. Remember - we're living in the Apathetic Decade.

"If you come on too strong people are likely to file your words away under the same heading they use for T.V. Preachers and Pro Wrestlers."

Most people will reject the truth no matter how it's presented.

"Consider the words of Martin Luther King Jr. who said, "Hate cannot drive out hate. Only love can do that."

Martin Luther King never took on Microsoft or the "Education Mafia." They're a helluva lot different than racism!

"Don't show people how to hate Microsoft, show them how to love open-source."

What's the point? There are thousands of people who are already doing that! The problem is, they aren't teaching the public about anything BUT open-source software. What about Microsoft's role in exploiting education? Microsoft as a monopoly? Microsoft as a national security issue?

I mean, if you want to sit around and hold hands as you gush over your perfect little operating syste, it's your choice. But you aren't going to take back democracy that way.

6. Can't imagine why you've never actually been ELECTED . . .
. . . to office.

Of course, it's all the lying media's fault.

I dislike MicroSoft, too. Never use Office - prefer Lotus by far. But to see "MS Propagandists EVERYWHERE" is making me wonder if you don't see them in your soup.
