The Ehime Maru went down three years ago near the Hawaiian Islands after being rammed by a US sub that was out on a joyride.

War machines are not toys to be used to reward political donors and industry cronies. I hope the Democratic candidates take this day to condemn this practice.

This incident defined the Bush administration.
