1. I don't know about that second panel
Isn't math awfully close to science? I don't know if they'd be teaching something like that controversial at the fundie schools.

2. Interesting how they replaced Washington...
with a cross.

Not an overly subtile demonstration of their desire to replace the republic with a Theocracy.

5. I am employed by a public school.
Children in our attendance area are provided with all our special offerings, and it doesn't matter whether or not they attend our school. This includes: health screening, occupational therapy, physical therapy, adaptive physical education, specialized reading instruction, speech therapy, accelerated classes, and transportation to and from their home school and ours. Community education, at any request, at any school in the attendance area, conducted by publicly paid employees.

My school has, in its attendance, split families. The siblings not needing so much specialization, attend the private schools. Those that do, attend the public schools.

Maybe some folks should know this.

7. So what you are saying
Is that private schools perform better because they can turn away anyone they want, such as children with special needs...

Or am I twisting your words.

If I read that right, I completely agree.
