Soothe me so I can get some sleep tonight.
I have been having this feeling that the reason that Big Media wouldn't pursue this AWOL story is that Smirk's complete, honorable record was going to suddenly appear and Clark & Moore and all of us were going to end up looking like idiots.

Now TIME has brought the story to the front page, and Newsweak and USN&WR are going to have to get on it as well. Something tells me that that's because they now believe it, have vetted it, and are going to track it to the end (the end of W, if all goes well). All hail to Clark, Moore, and Jennings! Anybody else share my thinking?

1. Yes,
This is like a dream come true...think back to even 6 months ago, when we could only imagine something like this. I think it's too out there to just go away. And you know, if they could have proved it, they would have proved it a long time ago.

...will this help?

'S an interesting read, and proof he DIDN'T serve as he claimed. Let's hope the media whores actually follow through.

3. Terry McAuliffe
might have to throw some credit to him too for putting the issue squarely in front and not retreating from it.

4. THanks
for reminding me. If we had a media presence, THEY would be doing the dirty work the way the wingers did to WJC.

Since we don't, T-Mac had to step into the breach so the candidates couild stay out of the muck.

McAuliffe gets alot of abuse here, but he jumped up on this one

:toast:

5. Too many very cautious folks are
speaking out on AWOL Chimp. I think MacAuliffe and to some extent Kerry, have done extensive opposition research on this. I don't think they would go with this if they were not very sure about it.

6. Doctor, take two sedatives and post us in the morning. :)

We're doing great! Moore and Clark *did* force the AWOL
story to the forefront (no thanks to Kerry's cowardice on
the subject). That's a hell of an accomplishment already.

We're funding Clark.
He's a leading candidate in spite of the media's antics
and the lack of support from the Dem machine.

We'll work our asses off for TN and beyond.
The General is a great man, a true leader, and a
force who cannot be ignored.
We'll make him more of a force every day.

Sufficiently soothed to sleep now?
If so, nighty night and pleasant dreams.
(Visions of delegate plums dancing in our heads.)
