Dennis Miller Bashes Kerry as a Mass. Liberal that love Gays.
The Repuklicans are attempting to drive this as a wedge issue. They are creating a whole new breed of Gay bashing and Dem's as gays. Strategy Any one?

7. The Mass. Court is 5 Reps 2 Dems
5 of the judges were appointed by Republican Governors Weld, Celluci and Swift and 2 by Dukakis.

There's gotta be a comeback in there somewhere.

10. huh?
Dennis Miller used to TORPEDO homophobes. Even if we grant as valid and true his assertion that 9/11 changed his political outlook, how the hell could that change him into a gaybasher? "Wow, all those people died - I clearly haven't been worrying enough about how strangers like their sex." His craven toadying is pitiful.

15. You mean, if I vote Dem, people will think I am gay?
Jesus, well, I guess I can't do that. I don't want people thinking I am gay.

But then again, I would prefer people think I "love gays" to them thinking that I am a fascist, sycophantic, uninformed moron who psychoticly worships a cocaine-using alcoholic illiterate with the IQ of mayonaise.

17. Issues
This will be the Republican campaign...Massachusetts, liberal, Teddy Kennedy, gay.

We'll assume Kerry to be the nominee.

He must get out in front and define this as crap right from the start.
Kerry should define these attacks as a Republican campaign based on fear, fear to discuss the real issues, because Bush will lose on the issues.

19. The strategy is to let them carry on. The American people are not BIGOTS
Edited on Sun Feb-08-04 10:00 PM by Stephanie
This won't fly. If they target gays they are targetting the friend, child, sibling, parent or matinee idol of every single person in this country. They are shooting at their own feet. Nobody loves a bigot.

20. I think Kerry can handle it well..
I saw the interview they had with Kerry after the State of The Union speech. When they asked him about his vote against the Defense of Marriage Act, I think he handled himself really well, and just told it like it was. He said that it was a divisive law and a form of gay-bashing. If this issue really helps Bush, then America still has a long way to go.

Dennis has found the line for conservative welfare. He's learned how to suck the teet of Bush's governance.

In short, Dennis is a welfare whore.
