Slate's take on MTP - Just what I'd hoped for...
SLATE.com

The kind of story that says the problems of this presidency run a little deeper than bad policy.

1. Very nice
Although insinuating that Shrubby thinks along the same lines a Plato might be a *bit* of a stretch...:eyes:

Otherwise spot on, and definitely worthy of being emailed to any fence-sitters. ;)

2. One problem with the article though
In it, Mr. Saletan states that bush is "telling the truth". Where is the truth? There are no wmd, Hussein, while a piece of crap, most likely wasn't an imminent threat to the USA, and he had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11. Bush tells the truth AS HE SEES IT; which is not the way it really happened. Therefore, it's a lie.

4. Good article.
Slate pretty much says shrub* suffers from delusions by throwing away facts that don't fit his beliefs. Weird that people actually buy that crap!

5. The best observation
"He showed you how his mind works. Republicans used to observe derisively that Clinton had a "difficult relationship with the truth." Bush has a difficult relationship with the truth, too. It's just a different—and perhaps more grave—kind of difficulty."

BINGO!!!
