Bush Not ÔMiserable FailureÓ Says AOLUp until yesterday, when someone typed in Ômiserable failureÕ into the AOL search engine, the top result listed was a link to President BushÕs Biography. However, AOL removed the listing yesterday from its cobranded Google results without comment. Ironically, AOL did not remove the links Democrats such as Sen. Hillary Clinton and former President Jimmy Carter that also appear on searches, as well as filmmaker Michael Moore. Is this a political move by AOL/Time Warner? Are they trying to prove a point via media censorship?

This is not the first time AOL has been accused of censoring their network for political reasons.
In 2000, CNET News reported that AOLÕs Òyouth filtersÓ were preventing young surfers from accessing liberal websites; Òyour children can easily view the site of the Republican National Committee,Ó Brian Livingston reported at the time, Òbut the Democratic National Committee is blocked.Ó
