Old pieface Tim Russert traveled -- in bulk -- to Austin, Texas to sit and laugh at George W. for a long hour.

We have to hand it to Russert: this interview sealed BushBaby's fate as a loser.

Bush started off the interview stuttering. He said he will win South Carolina -- even though every poll we've seen shows McCain winning, mostly because all moderate Republicans and Independents are overwhelmingly in support of McCain. This, of course, means that McCain is the best candidate at the national level for the GOP, because GOP registration is less than 36% nationwide and no Republican can win the White House without the independents.

McCain outpolls Bush with these people 3 to 1!!!!

This is why BushBrat is losing and losing big. The only people who support him are climbers-on and prematurely committed fools now trying to find a way out of supporting the Shrub and moving toward McCain. In fact, if you check FEC reports as we do on a daily basis, you will find many NEW contributions from FORMER BushBaby supporters are now showing up on McCain's list -- and big time.

Mark our words: Bush is finished.

The Shrub said, as he has repeatedly, that he thinks he will be a better leader because he is the governor of a state.

Right -- a state where horses or more important than starving Mexicans and Mexican-Americans on the Bush Texas border.

Russert asked why BushBaby and BushDaddy abandoned the veterans. Russert then rolled the McCain ad slamming Bush for "twisting the truth like Clinton!!" Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.

Bush said that is about as "low as it can git." He claimed voters of South Carolina don't appreciate it either. Bush said, "I don't appreciate bein' called Clinton."

What a moron. Clinton has an 80% job approval rating.

Russert then rolled ShrubBoy's special interest tax cuts spot which slams McCain because lobbyists support him. Bush stupidly kept calling campaign finance reform "campaign funding reform" -- probably another dumb idea from buttsucker Ari Fleischer who looks like the nation's top evil dweeb.

Bush got angry and hurt-looking. Wielding his latest overworn mantra, he claimed he is a reformer.

Yeah, a "reformer" for the funeral industry, allowing them to get away with highway robbery

contrast this with today's non-followup festival, then compare it to what he did with Dean

he actually displayed a bit of journalistic integrity

unfortunately for AMPOL, they didn't realize the extent of media complicity at this early point in the selection process; didn't realize how unscathed * would emerge from SC, and, from then on, with the path cleared of McCain, how he'd be pretty much untouched by the nasty liberal media for the rest of the year, including GTN, following the election itself.
