BUSH: Drunk? Drying Out? Mushmouth? 4th Grade Vocabulary?
Besides being evasive, vague, nervous, twitchy, indirect, he's got to be the most ill-informed and uncurious individual I've ever seen. A total buffoon.

He truly needs a speech tutor... that mushmouth way of speaking just drives me nuts.

"deshision" (decision)
"...show ush your armsh..." (show us your arms)
"...I shtrongly believe..." (I strongly believe)
"...every shituashion" (every situation)
"...Korean Peninshula" (Korean Peninsula)
"...reshponshibility" (responsibility)
"...Mash Deshtructshun" (Mass Destruction)
"... he chorchured..." (he tortured) if you can beleive it!!

2. you've nailed it, Allen
I caught the tail end of it.

He scared the fuck out of me.

Was he stoned, drugged, or drunk?

Bush is truly living in another world.

I'm watching the Chris Matthews Show, and Dana Milbank nailed it: Bush wakes up every day thinking it's 9/12/2001, whereas the rest of the country has moved on and are worried about Medicare and jobs -- not terrorism.

That's all Bush knows -- "wer'e gonna get the terraists"..........

12. Out of touch with reality, just like his Dad

He's never once in his life had to worry about a job, housing, paying his bills or having to provide medical care for his family. He just doesn't understand what the rest of us have to deal with on a daily basis, for our entire life. And he doesn't want to deal with those issues, because he can't relate to them, and they're too complicated. No matter what you do about jobs, medicare, immigration, etc, you make some people happy, and some unhappy. Terraism is simple, and very black and white for him: They're the bad guys, we're the good guys, and he gets to dress up and play John Wayne.

17. Except...
it's not so much that he wants to get the "terraists" as he wants to do whatever he can to further the goals of the neocon/corporate cabal he's surrounded with and USE "terraism" as the excuse to meet these goals.

3. And don't forget....
The new word he coined today ........

Freedomanamocracy.

LOL> I swear that is just the way he said it. Reminds of Jeff Foxworthy talking about Southern words....like "Momanem". The usage is...Momanem went to the store...lol.

Bush uses Freedomanamocracy the same way...one word...never used alone...a touchstone to be used as often as possible.

I figured:

1) Bush is just plain fucking stupid.

2) Bush has the biggest balls in the world to say such a thing.

3) Sheer "I don't give a damn what anyone says or thinks, anyway" mindset.

4) All of the above.

9. He's getting audio cues

His sentences are non-cohesive. He's pausing mid sentence ALMOST EVERY TIME. He is getting his topics and "talking points" via his "miracle ear".

I bet he leaves it in at night so BIG DICK can train him "subliminably".

By the way, making fun of his pronunciation will get you nowhere. There are plenty of people in this nation that have different ways of pronouncing things. It doesn't make them stupid. They are just speaking in their regional norm.

If you make fun of George W, than you must also make fun of "ebonics". You turn yourself into Rush "Axe Me" Limbaugh.

Oops current riff.

14. The President of the US should train himself to speak
A national standard "dialect". A President who tries to represent the whole country should speak that way - and if he wasn't raised to, should take it on himself to get the couching to do so.

Either he is not capable of this, or he is so arrogant he believes he doesn't need to.

Really? What a shocker!!

You mean that you're admitting to us right here that you DO NOT KNOW what criteria the General Accounting Office uses to make projections.

You mean that you're so ill-informed that you don't bother to READ or ask questions??

You mean that you're so incurious as to what should actually be CONSIDERED before making heavy and weighty policy decision about tax cuts and spending?

A total buffoon! A complete embarrassment for the whole country. Never mind the question of his legitimacy... he's just an absolute and total moron.

32. drunk and drugged
This is not a question of an uneducated boob with a bad accent. This is a case of a drunk/druggie taking the reins of the highest office in the land. Anyone who is not in denial can see that the drunk is a drunk. The whole "dry drunk" thing is disinformation, put out to make it seem as if "reasonable people" accept that the Big Lie that * gave up drinking years ago. I mean, if you have eyes in your head, and you've ever dealt with a drunk, it's pretty clear that * is majorly active in his addiction.

Let's put the "dry drunk" hypothesis to bed and be honest about what we can see right in front of us.

It hurts the drunk -- and it also hurts ourselves -- when we lie to ourselves to avoid admitting to the obvious. We can stop the enabling and be frank about the open drinking/drugging and resulting slurring and stumbling. I believe the open alcoholism needs to be a campaign issue. * makes Boris Yeltsin look teetotal.

A speech tutor? Please. He needs a minimum of six months in an inpatient facility. Even then, if he has developed Karsakof syndrome (which I believe he has), then he may never fully recover his memory or his ability to speak without effort.

38. Really, do you think most of the country is in denial
and doesn't want to use their own eyes? The guy looks hungover on so many days, particularly after weekends. Red eyes, bloated-looking and so on. It looks really obvious to me, but maybe it's because I knew a couple of alcoholics while growing up. My mother's uncle used to come to visit and Bush looks the way he always used to look in the morning. There is an also an emotional look too that goes with the physical look - sad and regretful, maybe. He looks that way a lot too.

44. subject verb agreement
Subject-verb agreement is another one of Bush's weak points. Like someone who has failed to complete the sixth grade, he says things like the well-known "Is our children learning?"

From Sunday's interview:

"There is a lot of investigations going on about the intelligence service..."

"And that's very important for, I think, the people to understand where I'm coming from to know that this is a dangerous world. I wish it wasn't."

"In my judgment, when the United States says there will be serious consequences, and if there isn't serious consequences, it creates adverse consequences."

That last sentence has bigger problems, though.

In most cases, I don't get too upset over stuff like this, but we're talking about the President of the United States here. There used to be standards for that job.
