Freeper friend claims that the Boston Globe retracted >
its story regarding Bush's being awol during his NG "service." Claims the retraction happened after the NT Times investigated.

I can't find any such story. Help?

1. Never happened to my knowledge.
Why would they retract the truth?

2. Actually Walter Robinson just wrote another piece in the Globe last week!
and it certainly wasn't a retraction.

4. well, they didn't exactly retract
your friend is stretching the truth. they said in an editorial that clark should have distanced himself from Moore's comments. but they didn't retract.

6. Did they justify their opinion?
What possible motivation did they provide for Clark to Distance himself from an extremely popular and powerful advocate? Or was it just tossed out there as word from God.

8. i think they focused on semantics....
...that a charge of "desertion" is much more serious than a charge of AWOL, and there's not clear evidence of desertion. but they stand by their concerns about possible AWOL.

7. Why don't you demand that your friend
show the links/evidence when they make a claim like this. Why should it be on you to prove what they said.
