Please let us know what's going on over there. I'm too afraid to go looking for myself, I don't know what I'll find. I know some of you intrepid souls read their screed frequently, so please let the rest of the rank and file DUers know what's happening.

If they're saying "Bush did great", that's to be expected. If they're saying "Timmy was too hard on our little boy... :_(

Well, if that's the case, then we're already ahead!

3. quotes from the freep zone
Timmy wasn't pulling any punches. I thought the President did really well. Of course, the final analysis is going to depend on what soundbites CNN etc choose to play from the interview.

We're in agreement again , Keith. Not that he looked bad in the beginning, but definitely stronger in the 2nd half.

It is what it is as stated by W over and over. 'We sincerely thought this madman could develop and use dangerous weapons or let them get in terrorist hands....not gonna' happen as my dad used to say.'

------------------------------------------------------------------------
I think the President is a little tongue-tied and on the defensive. During the intelligence discussion he should have taken the opportunity to describe the condition of the intelligence apparatus he inherited from the Arky Bastard.

7. Thanks for the report
although calling you an "intelligence operative" is perhaps the wrong term. "Stupidity reporter" might be a more accurate title (of course I am referring to FR stupidity, not yours).

5. More quotes from freep land (OMG!- look at this first one!)
Folks, it's ok. He keeps saying that the political season has begun. He knows what he is doing. He is a thoroughbred. You don't start your finishing kick in February.

The thing that bothers me is that I think I could make Bush's case on Iraq more effectively than he did. It makes me wonder about his advisors.
