Will his saying that he will open all records mean new information?

I thought a lot of the research was pieced together and that not all records were available. Russert mentioned pay stubs and tax records.
These are not open as far as I know. Guess what I'm asking: "Is this going to make a difference?"

Given that it - even if part of the record - shows the 6 month AWOL - It does not clear him of AWOL.

And finding out how it was added might be interesting!

would have to show if and when he was paid by the guard (U.S. TREASURY checks, handed out at monthly week-end drill, quarterly).
You didn't get paid if you didn't show up and/or didn't fulfill all the necessary accomplishments each quarter.

ones have been scrubbed. This is going to be bad for the Dems and for Kerry if he is the contender. Bush will purchase whatever documentation he requires and our credibility will be shot.

I know people are suspicious of the documents making a magical appearance. But I think there will be enough concern on why no one remembers his service. Plus, if there are any real journalists left out there, a few should be able to come up with where George really was during this time. This story is not going away.
