15 minutes into the interview...
Edited on Sun Feb-08-04 09:19 AM by rockymountaindem
Bush finally mentioned Clinton. I'm proud of him. I thought he'd have done it within 2 minutes.

To be honest, and I'm ready to be flamed here, it looks like Russert (at least at this point) isn't being so easy on Bush*. He's not asking the "tough questions", but they're not exactly Nerf balls either.

On edit: oooohhh, now Bush* is being condescending to Russert "I know I'm getting repetitive, but I just want to make sure you understand". Thanks, I was confused. I sure be glad that we gotta smart-un in the White House!

1. He isn't doing bad
I'd like to see him follow up a little more, but he is asking tough questions. You can almost see the smoke coming out of Bush's ears as his fried little mind tries to answer the tough ones without forgettign what lies he has already told.

2. no flame from me...
While I have shouted "MORON"a few times at the TV, I haven't yet said Öh, Come On TIMMY!" like I usually do on MTP Sunday...While Russert isn't as agressive as I would like, nobody on the right can accuse him of picking on our poor defenseless Georgie...

3. How did he refer to Clinton?
Edited on Sun Feb-08-04 09:55 AM by Maccagirl
By name, or (as he always does) "my predecessor". I won't watch so I depend on DUer's who have the stomach to fill me in.
