Deep Background (MUST READ!!!)

What follows are step-by-step summaries of the twenty-four chapters contained in what appears to be a phantom document, "DejaVu: A People's Deeper History of the United States." Despite preliminary attempts at investigation, the author's identity remains unknown to me.

I stumbled across this index while Googling "silberman october surprise vast right wing conspiracy" after learning about the newly appointed Intelligence Review panel-member Lawrence Silberman (and long-time Clinton attacker)'s role in Iran Contra (and possibly October Surprise) at Joshua Micah Marshall's excellent blog, Talking Points Memo.

It was the only page that came up in the search. I clicked on it. The link was dead.

Luckily, a Google cache version was available. I clicked, read, and was astonished. It was as though somebody had rummaged through the back of my mind, vacuumed out all the nagging thoughts, the dark implications, and stitched them together to create a kind of pointilist, gestalt overview of the 20th century (and beyond) power-politics "zeitgeist."

I'm not saying it made me think "it all makes sense now!" but I am saying it made me think. In fact, it made me think: "If the index was this good, imagine what the whole thing must be like!"

I set about salvaging what chapters I could from a seemingly abandoned webspace. I managed to save every chapter except the eleventh, which covers the early part of the 1970s.

I have them saved on my hard-drive now. I haven't read the document through yet, but I will do so soon. I want to be sure that it's 100% respectable (and not disinfo crafted to make "the left" or "liberals" look like conspiracy kooks) before I forward it to members of the establishment media for their edification and general reference.

In the meantime, if Google is to be trusted, this increcibly thorough New World Order chronology is nowhere else to be found, online. This could be due to the author wishing to publish it as a book and thus removing it, but seeing as the author's name is nowhere to be found (and judging from the EXTREMELY un-Politically Correct nature of the text), I doubt it.

I would therefore like to post each individual chapter here, for permanent safe keeping. Is there a place here where we can do that?

DejaVu: A 'People's Deeper History of the United States.'

INTRODUCTION: Nothing much to say. I put this together for people (like me) who never think there's a reason to vote. I beg of you to relent! Being a citizen means being informed and aware, and you can start right here. Please read DejaVu, any of it, before you decide not to vote again in 2004. Pick a page, any page, and learn something about the vision of YOUR FUTURE held by our leaders. And even if you remain unconvinced that there's any threat, you'll at least be compelled to admit that DejaVu is a fascinating story.

Footnoting will eventually include almost every line in DejaVu; I hope to finish with that project by next year (I'm assembling the bibliography right now, due in another month).
Be as skeptical as you can while reading DejaVu. Scientific method demands it, and more than you can imagine is riding on it.
