As we approach election day, let us not forget "October Surprise"
The Bushes and their cronies have shown time and again that they have absolutely no regard for the democratic process and will do anything -- ANYTHING -- to get elected and keep the government gravy train flowing their direction. While most people here seem to be worried by Rove's dirt-dealing tactics, I think we should also expect something bigger to happen, something along the lines of the October Surprise. I have no idea what it will be, but stay alert people!

2. Yeah, OBL "suddenly" apprehended might do it

But it would have to occur right before the election, like a few weeks. Bush's "Saddam bounce" didn't last too long.

6. Trotting OBL our right before the elections...
... might strike even the band of Bush crooks as a little tooooo obvious. I'd expect no later than September.

5. Maybe they will send us all halloween Goodies
yep, that would be nice. A nice care package from old Bush and Cheney with halloween candy and cookies.

But I suspect the surprise will be something nasty instead.
