Anyone catch Letterman?
He does a segment called "George W Bush Genius", and showed a clip of Bush speaking about the economy and trying to pronounce commiserate and failing badly. Letterman then showed a Porky pig clip...

I was laughin' my arse off! Dave ain't buyin' in to the Patriotic Correctness pressure! He even did an Osama video clip satire. Ya gotta love his choice of writers.

George W Bush after the election : "Th-th-th-th-that's all folks!"

1. Maybe bush's "W" stands for Wile E. Coyote
Just as he realizes he's stepped off the cliff

2. Porky was far more articulate
... not to mention concise and to the point compared to Chimpy W. McFratboy.

4. Thats hilarious
Dave's the man!

It was great when he recently had on Howard Dean doing the Top 10 list. It was very funny (but not insulting like the Bush piece)! Last month Al Franken was on the show to talk about his tour of Iraq (entertaining the troops!).

7. Dave's Spot On...
The man is class in the way he gets a zinger out and lets it just burn in. The thought of millions tuning in and seeing that comparison between the chimpster and Porky (I'll never be able to watch another Looney Tune with a straight face) burn into lots of minds is very warming indeed. Remember, it was the late night shows that shewered Gore with the Internet and Alpha Male crap that virtually emasculated him and put him on the defensive.

I had to hop between Dave (btw...the audience reaction was great), and Bill Mahrer who got off some classic zingers on this regime. This week's RealTime is excellent as well...damn how often do we have two programs (plus the Daily Show just before) to choose from???? Damn it felt good.

BTW...Mahrer destroys Andrew Sullivan...mustsee TV.
