NPR featured AWOL story today
Mara Liasson did a report, which was pretty objective, saying that no paper trail exists to prove Mr Rove's trained monkey ever showed up for the last year of his Viet Nam era "service".

It was said that Gore chose not to make an issue of it, but that Kerry is considering doing so, and that others Dems already have.

Kerry was quoted as saying "I am well aware that people in that era had all kinds of choices -- to fight, to go to Canada, or to resist, and all of those choices are okay with me." Easy for a guy who received a couple of medals for valor to say that!!

The report concluded that the Repubs believe that the Viet Nam era behavior is irrelevant now, and that 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 is what is on their minds.

Well -- Mara Liaason may think this, but your own dear Chookie disagrees. *IF* we were not in a bloody, agonizing war -- which was one of the very cool things about the Clinton years -- I think that Viet Nam might be irrelevant.

But the fact that His Chimperial Highness has such nostalgia for that era that he has recreated it for the young people of today and that the blood of our countymen is being shed daily for chimp's war profiteering -- YOU BET YER BUTT it's an issue!!

Pound them, Kerry, pound them!

After what those bastards did to Max Cleland -- I will show them no mercy.

2. "It matters now because everything CHANGED after 9/11."
Isn't that the Republicans favorite line?

6. Why didn't he take the physical he was supposed to take?
