First Lady: Twins May Hit Campaign Trail

WASHINGTON (AP) -

President Bush's twin daughters may take part in their father's re-election bid after they graduate from college this spring, first lady Laura Bush said Thursday.

Mrs. Bush told CNN that her 22-year-old daughters, Jenna and Barbara, are contemplating a role in what may be their father's last campaign.

"It seems to me that they are spending most of their time saying really terrible things about my husband," she said. "No, I really don't like that."

Mrs. Bush also said she was disappointed in CBS' telecast of Janet Jackson's breast exposure during the Super Bowl halftime show last weekend.

Although their antics have been reported and commented on by DUers, some argued that this was not fair since they were the children of public figures and not public figures themselves. I can understand her calling them that, since I am a Mom, and sometimes refer to my sons, as my boys...even though they are 25,26 & 30.. but I actually heard her refer to them as "teens" yesterday..

They really should campaign for their Dad.. I do not like the man, but he IS their Dad, and they should be a bit more involved now that they are through school and all grown up..

These twp "girls" have been ghosts for 4 years now.. I never even heard a reference in the media about *Mom & Pop* going to their graduations...Do we ever see them even pictured in any white house events??
