2. Ain't it the truth...
None of the 'Young Republicans' want to serve, they want to watch me and my mates do it for them.

13. He or she was probably just passing by
I've been living in the Detroit area so long, I forget that there are places in the US where there aren't many people of colour. When I see a group photo of college students, I expect to see black faces in the crowd, except, perhaps, at the anti-affirmative action rallies that will likely be held this summer, since Ward Connorly is trying to get Michigan voters to ban AA.

21. You defend their segregationist attitudes?
Whitey does have a tremendous amout to be blamed about but this thread wasn't doing that. Only you brought up blame.

23. Segregationist?
I merely state that it is okay to be white, that it is nothing to be ashamed of.

24. Nobody said it wasn't
What was being commented upon was the lack of "muti-culturism" by those people not "multi-culturism" gone awry. You seem to feel their lack of "multi-culturism" is not worthy of comment. It is very indicative of the GOP. We notice even if you don't.

19. That is a great idea
Start an organization: DefendDemocracy.com or ServeYourCountry.com. Get enlistment forms and the Republican mailing list, and mail the forms out to them.

7. I certainly hope so
If a Republican administration enacts a draft, then by law draft boards should be required to take Republicans first. Its called representative democracy. If you support the policy, you should pay its price.

Editorial comment: What a bunch of twerps. Living proof that the educational system in America is falling on it ass.

12. I can understand the white boys being Republican
They are trying to preserve their (our) top place on the social totem pole.

But women? That really confuses me. Why do some women strongly support the Republican Party? I have the same confusion with people like Ann Coulter. Do they not realize that if it was up to the Republicans, they would still be in the kitchen? They would have no right to reproductive decisions. Their vote may be taken away, because as every good Republican knows, women just don't think the same as men.

Why, oh why do we have women this clueless in our society. Do we not do a good job in educating children in critical thinking skills?

18. I think many young women today just do not realize how things were
in the not-too-distant past, and how far women have come. I don't think they realize just how quickly their reproductive rights could be gone, and that would be pretty much the end of women's control of their own lives, which is of course what the Christian Taliban wants to see happen...
We need to do a better job of educating our young people on the women's rights movement, and what benefits it has had in our country...

27. for some reason...
I'm really starting to be bothered by these people. I dunno, maybe it's because they're all my peers. I mean, these are the gung-ho for war kids, but they have no intention of serving in the military. I also have no desire, but then again, I'm not pushing war. I dunno, but this is really starting to bother me
