Rape accusation and sports scores
Check out the headline, read the article and then pay special attention to the last sentence.

1. I must be dense. Is it that the score was included in a police blotter
story?

2. I thought it was a very strange juxtaposition.

A coworker read the article to me and when she got to the last sentence I couldn't believe it. It kind of reminded me of how on the radio they will often follow a story about our military exploits in another country with a sports story. I thought this was even worse.

6. Hometown Headline a Couple Years Ago
My high school sports teams are called the Lions. A couple of years ago the basketball coach, Jack Butcher, set the record for being the winningest coach in Indiana high school history. The headline following the day he tied that record?

LIONS WIN
BUTCHER TIES
