Hannity
Is anyone checking out Hannity and Colmes? Hannity says no one "specifically" said Kerry was unpatriotic. This will be a tactic of the right in the election, they will imply that the left is unpatriotic and when someone calls it on them they will ask for a specific quote. They did this to Max Cleland and they will do it to the nominee. We need to point out that Dems came up with Homeland Security; that Bill Clinton was obsessed with UBL; that we care more about our soldiers and that Bush opposed, stalled and wanted to delay the 9/11 commission. Who is with me?

P.S. If anyone has anymore examples of Dems being stronger on national defense, please post some.

1. Another example
Maybe more of a domestic issue, but Kerry fought hard to get 100,000 more police officers on the streets and Clinton got it passed.

GWB is against that and is cutting domestic police funding in his current budget. He thinks we need less police, I suppose, even though crime is on the rise for the first time in a decade.

2. Oh and another one
Bush cut veterans funding and veteran benefits.

Kerry would want to reverse the cuts that Bush did to the veterans.

Joe Conason: Who's tougher on terror?

Conservatives blame 9/11 on Clinton. But it was Bush Republicans who made deals with terrorists -- while Clinton's team took concrete steps to protect Americans. Part 5 of "Big Lies

4. "Bring It On" - Go ahead, make opposition to Vietnam unpatriotic. . .
And make my day. They can't do it, because it will show that Iraq is even worse - by far. Bring it on. I will be there to tell the Truth. Go see "The Fog of War," my DU friends.
