Will Tenet's Speach Be A WhiteWash?

The CIA Director (Clinton apointee) will give a speach tomorrow about 'intelligence failures'. Do you think there's any chance of all of him mentioning the Office of Special Projects, intimidation of analysts, and inappropriate Executive Branch influence in the intelligency gathering and analysis?

My guess is that he'll lay down like Rumsfeld's dog taking a good kick to the ribs and licking the master's hand.

point out that he testified before Congress prior to the war and said that Iraq was not a threat. Nah... he'll cave.

I agree--he's a complete bootlicker and there's not going to be anything here that goes against the *admin. He'll say, Nope, it wasn't really CIA's fault because Everybody Knew Saddam Had WMDs™; but it wasn't Bush/Cheney's fault either because Clinton Said the Same Thing™ and also No One Could Have Known™ that We All Got It Wrong™.
