If only we could hire a private investigator to.....
...start by going to Alabama and researching George's role in Blount's campaign.

If he was there, some photos and quotes will show up in the newspaper's back issues. He was the campaign manager.

And there must be some kind of footprint left as to Bush's activities there.

Come on, Soros. Spread your money out a bit. Look what Larry Flynt did with just a little investment.

1. contribute your ideas here
Please post any trails or tidbits or leads that could be followed. I'll forward the thread to Soros if we get some good stuff.

Any good journalist should be on this story.

5. But they're not.
I don't care who does it, but if someone is on the ground down south and needs funds for this, I'm sure we could start up a fund.

6. I think it needs to be a PI..
..because a PI can carry a gun and is skilled in certain ways journos usually aren't. Of course, there are investigative reporters, but the good ones are recognizable.

8. i would think old newspapers that covered the campaign
would have dates and places for campaign events. then find local motel records. for example, where the blounts and some campaign staffers may have stayed the night.

find a reporter who covered the campaign.

find someone who worked in the opposing campaign.

state records for dui's, speeding tickets?

car rentals?

find where he lived in montgomery. where he drank. (gee, that oughta be hard)

he had to leave a footprint somewhere.
but what might be better would be finding where he was if he WASN'T in alabama during that time.

9. why cant we hire a private eye and
why cant we perform our own polls!?

Why cant interested groups within the larger du, get together and pool some dollars and or time to do anything we want??
Polls, PR, Investigative journalism. Why cant we make our own radio and tv all on the internet. ITs the ground floor? Why if the media is corupted we dont just start doing it all ourselves?
