Rep. Tauzin to become lobbyist for pharma corps??
"The job offer has raised eyebrows since Tauzin's committee deals with critical legislation affecting the pharmaceutical industry. For example, Tauzin last year guided through his committee and the House a new Medicare law that prevents the government from negotiating lower prices from drug companies. Congress passed the legislation, which includes a prescription drug plan for the elderly, in December."

3. Corporate Greed's Poster Child
Don't let the doors hit you on the way out, Billy. This goon was once a Dem (farewell to bad trash) and also is responsible for the broadcast dereg mess in '96 and again last year.

I'm hoping he takes one big fat lobbyist job so we can make him the walking/talking poster child of corporate welfare...this guy's career, past, present and future, is a textbook case.

The media bleets along...not a question of the ethics of going from a "public servant" to a whore for a large pharma that only cares about their bottom line...even if that means millions of seniors who get substadard or no health care.
