Dennis Kucinich and the Department of Peace
The idea of a Cabinet position and the creation of a department to promote a positive image of the US around the world and to promote global peace intrigues me. I think it would really help our image.

I don't really know a lot about this initiative, however. What exactly would be the goals of this department and how would they pursue their goals? Furthermore, wouldn't this kind of overlap with the State dept? If any of you could fill me in, please let me know all that you can.

2. Wrong Forum
Move this to the 2004 Forum, and I'm sure there are people who would be happy to talk with you abut it there.

Thanks.

3. The main concept is to teach Americans to be peaceful to each other.
Kucinich wants for young Americans to learn a philosophy of non-violence.
