BBV: Palm Beach County Florida Update
Randi Rhodes had Rep. Robert Wexler on her show today. He currently has a lawsuit against FL. Sec. of State, Teresa Lepore, etc. to get paper trail backup for our electronic voting machines. He announced on Randi's show that today all 7 of Palm Beach County's commissioners, both Repugs and Dems, have unanimously agreed that they will purchase printers for paper receipts for all Palm Beach County machines. He is dropping that part of the lawsuit against the commissioners. He has this lawsuit on the "fast track" and I got the impression that the commissioners also want to move as quickly as they can to get the paper printers.

Please support Congressman Robert Wexler in his lawsuit!
Come down to the Palm Beach County Courthouse on Friday February 6th at 3:30PM

Congressman Robert Wexler
versus:
Theresa Lepore, Supervisor Of Elections for Palm Beach County &
Glenda E. Hood, Florida Secretary Of State

The Hearing is scheduled to be heard at the following time and location:

FRIDAY FEBRUARY 6TH @ 3:30pm
Palm Beach County Courthouse
205 North Dixie Highway
West Palm Beach, Florida

Congressman Wexler filed this lawsuit because the use of touch-screen voting machines without ballot printers leaves elections officials with no means to conduct manual recounts, as required by state law in the closest of elections.

WITHOUT PAPER BACKUP PALM BEACH COUNTY IS OUT OF COMPLIANCE WITH FLORIDA ELECTION LAW.

PLEASE COME DOWN AND SHOW YOUR SUPPORT FOR
CONGRESSMAN WEXLER AND HR 2239

Let's Make a Huge Statement!

2. And so are most other countries in FL
This is great. The rest of Florida will have to follow suit and probably the rest of the country, depending on state election laws.

3. State election laws don't change themselves
YOU have to get in there and do it. Write the legislation if you have to.

Start your efforts right now!

Random, mandatory audits.

Voter verfied paper ballots of ALL voting systems.
(optical scan meets that criteria already)

Your legislators have to hear this, continue hearing this, and know they must act now.
