Why? because he did serve his country..you don't have to be on active duty in order to serve your country.

Clinton..on the other hand DID dodge the draft.
Gore served...
Carter served on a Sub during WWII in the Pacific!
Johnson's service was something of a disgrace.
Truman served during WWI
JFK...had a few problems while serving in the Navy, but he did a fine job in saving a fellow crew member.

Kerry is a congressional medal of honor recipient.
I hope Dean will make a reversal..
