I'm in South Carolina and about to vote for Dean
I know he has no chance of winning here, and he probably won't even get the nomination at this point.

But I'll vote for him anyway because at the same time Kerry and the other candidates were handing Bush a bland check for war because they thought it'd help their election chances if they looked "strong on defense" or whatever, Dean took an unpopular, principled stand and stuck with it through the ups and downs of the campaign, becoming the most prominent voice of opposition to the war. So I think I owe him at least this much.

Am I just being stubborn here, or do you understand where I'm coming from?

1. Vote your conscience, TUP
Don't let the polls make a decision for you.

5. Not when I went there
There were only a couple other people there voting (and one of them apparently was having trouble with her registration), and only two or three people working there.

But then I went in the middle of the afternoon, most people probably voted in the morning or at lunch, or will vote after work.

4. If they keep trying to destroy
Dean at least you will have voted at least once for someone. We may be left with only the choice of voting against the shrub.

6. Good for you!
And, no, you're not stubborn at all. Stand up for what you believe. And just think how great you'll feel if you help Dean over the 15% threshold so that he earns some SC delegates.

the primary comes to my state for the same reason.
