1. That's not a new book - been on shelves for 1/2 a year
Might be an interesting read now though since AWOL and Kay are trying to blame the CIA. Wouldn't buy it though since it's a Regan press book. Maybe sit down with a mocha in the bookstore and peruse though.

2. Oops, My Bad. I Guess It's Not So New
Bush vs. the Beltway : How the CIA and the State Department Tried to Stop the War on Terror was published last July, back when there was actually still a shade of a ghost of a chance we might uncover weaponsofmassdestruction.

5. Even if it is not new
I hadn't seen it before this and reading the scathing reviews was a treat.

4. From the book's liner notes (as posted on Josh Marshall today)
Combining important new research with an insider's grasp of Beltway politics, Mylroie describes how the CIA and the State Department have systematically discredited critical intelligence about Saddam's regime, including indisputable evidence of its possession of weapons of mass destruction. She reveals how major elements of the case against Iraq -- including information about possible links to al Qaeda and evidence of potential Iraqi involvement in the fall 2001 anthrax attacks -- were prematurely dismissed by these agencies for cynical reasons.
