My Note Along With The Move On Call To Censure Bush
Move On is sponsoring a petition drive to censure Bush. I added these comments to my signature...

Not just censure...Bush should be IMPEACHED!!
He knowfully, and wilfully lied to the American public...in such a Machiavellian manner that later his misleading statements, which he knew to be false when he delivered them, could be blamed on someone else.

For example, the famous sixteen words in the State Of The Union last year, was crafted in such a way so that Bush could later blame the Britih for "feeding him bad intel" but he KNEW the intel was bad before he ever uttered the words...or he should have known, since our CIA had already determined the documents concerning Saddam's attemots to purchase uranium yellowcake from Niger to be forged.

Yet he wanted the war so badly, he was willing to mislead the public in the manner he did...and what is the result? 500-plus dead Americans is the result! This, from a man who didn't even have the courtesy to finish his hitch with the Texas Air Guard, when he was of age to serve this country! Oh, but he can sure play dress-up on the deck of the Abraham Lincoln, and pretend to be a soldier...but when he actually had the chance to be a soldier for REAL...he declined.

I say not only censure, but IMPEACHMENT!!!

3. The WH has actually admitted that they changed the wording...
... in the 2003 SOTU to be 'technically correct" (re the reference to British intelligence"), in response to receiving warnings from the CIA that it was not accurate.

I posted this in a post here some time ago:
"The recent admission that the phrase in the State of the Union address was changed to be “technically” correct amounts to an admission that it was intentionally misleading. Let’s not parse words here, as the administration is wont to do. Changing a phrase to be technically correct while leaving an impression you that know is, at the very least, questionable, is by definition misleading. Furthermore, the fact that they themselves changed the wording means that this misleading was intentional."
