Will Bush solve the illegal immigration problem? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the government spending problem? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the drug war problem? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

.........does he really mean "all Americans"? I doubt it. Especially if you're a woman or an Arab.

2. A great description of a dictatorship...

...so much for 'loving America'.

- As we can see...this is the type of mentality that doesn't mind election fraud or rape of the Constitution if the end result brings more power to 'his side'.

6. LOL!
If FR feels the need to plead with their members not to vote for Kerry, Dean, Edwards, or Clark with this desperate tripe (Hillary! Hillary! Hillary!), then we are obviously in a very good position right now.

:D

7. Has anyone else noticed
how the RW nuts have gone from "Chimpy is the bestest, wonderfulest, most perfect president who ever lived" to "OK, he sucks but the dems are evil bad worse"? It is a great sign for us if the Freepers are having to qualify support for *. Lets kick some ass in November!

8. This sounds eerily like "The lesser of two evils"
Interesting to see the other side thinks in the same terms.

9. In our two party system it is all about
divide and conquer. That is what they have done to us during the 90's. With the Dem base pissed about the war, slashed social programs, supply side economics et al, we have moved over to the left. Sure it is not ideologically pure left and not as far left as I would like but it is all about direction, not how fast you get there.

12. LOL - what a stretch!
Will Bush solve the illegal immigration problem? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Well, Clinton had 8 years and didn't make this proposal - the proposal, like the other one folks like Jim didn't like (the 1986 immigrant amnesty program) were proposed under republicans. Track record suggests that Bush is MORE likely than the others to treat the issue in the way Jim et al do not like.

Will Bush solve the government spending problem? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Of course Clinton said he would cut the deficit spending over the years and did. Bush has escalated spending - most of it not related to 9-11, the war or national security. Furthermore, a study of proposed budgets through the Reagan years demonstrate that democratic majority bodies always proposed smaller budgets with lower deficits with the largest budgets coming straight from the White Hosue. History and the current situation demonstrate that Bush and the GOP escalate spending and deficits - and create future debts that will have to be paid off (through TAXES - and likely HIGHER TAXES by our children.) So again, chances are than any of those democrats would do a much, much better job on this front.

Will Bush solve the campaign finance problem? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

You may be right Jim - on this front - given that you support giving more influence to the wealthy in influencing outcomes of elections. Guess the huge record explosion of corporate welfare spending (and gouging of tax payers by contractors such as Halliburton) related to the size of campaign giving (and the congress and whitehouse now paying the dues), is a good thing. On this front, I would expect that the democrats would take more of a lead in trying to revive democracy as being tied to representative government (where voters are the constituents, not huge campaign donors.) When did $ become speech ?

Will Bush solve the drug war problem? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

On what grounds would these candidates make it worse? Seems like all parties have been pretty ineffective on this front (pursuing similar policies might be part of the problem.) Just saying that they would probably make it "much worse" without any evidence (eg bush record being so much better than the clinton record) is hot air.

---------
I could go on- but don't feel like hitting their site to see what else JimRob said with vacous statements rooting in no evidence... But this is oh so very easy to debunk.

13. Well, that is a nice little load of shit
Hmm, about the illegal immigration thing... yeah, Bush might be tougher on that than any Dem (I don't know why these psychotics keep mentioning Hillary) but that is because his supporters are rascist assholes who want to keep America for white Christians.

But apparently Bush can't get a handle on spending, as evidenced by his latest budget.

Apparently Bush can't solve the campaign finance problem. Hell, he rewards his highest contributors with immunity. And I am sorry, but please show me a Republican who loves his country more than money. I have honestly never seen one.

And the drug war? Excuse me, but aren't we still worried about a war on terror? Why are we locking up marijuana users when there are "terrorists" out there?

As long as Bush is in office, Americans will die whenver his approval ratings fall.
