If bush* starts drinking again, will the neocons rally around him as
they've done with rush, seriously, this could really happen. Bush* appears to be having some problem dealing with the current issues and he doesnt appear as healthy or as sprite as before.

1. Starts???
He's been at it already.

And yeah, they'll rally until he is caught red-handed and tehy can't deny it so will have to distance themselves to save their own skins. :(

7. Catching Him Won't Help
Even if they do catch him, wingnuts will claim it doesn't matter, will invent all kinds of blustery arguments to defend it.

Remember, he NEVER admitted he was an alcoholic--and if you're not an alcoholic, what's the matter with drinking now and then? And then you'll hear about Clinton smoking pot in college and about how immoral his White House was and . . .

3. They would probably love it! He would sign anything and all they
have to do is sober him up for an afternoon or evening to give a speech here and there.

4. If he's caught, he'll just have a miraculous recovery
Attribute it to the "wonder working power" of his Lord Jesus, and say "oh, by the way while I was talking to Jesus he told me invade Syria," and everyone will proclaim him the second coming of the messiah, and jump back on the war bandwagon.
