2. Still 97% No
Come on folks, with the exception of the criminals in the White House, this thing should be a lot closer to 100% NO.

4. You know, even for a meaningless, unscientific online poll

...I'd say a 97% result on a clearly worded, simple question with 10,000 votes in is, well, kinda significant.

My theory on this whole thing? Nobody needs an investigation to know the truth. Nobody. Not us obviously, but not the Republicans and the reichpundits either. Everyone knows this is just an attempt to somehow keep the lid on. And it makes the other "independent" investigations look equally farcical by association. I think it's a lose-lose for Bush. We may be pretty dumb as a country, but we're not THAT dumb.

6. Every time I've dealt with truly evil people
I just want to wear a shirt that says "you must think I'm really stupid!"

That's how they ALL are.

Well, yes, I think they've finally overestimated the stupidity of the American people.

But maybe not. "But Saddam was a bad man, right?"

7. Or.....
did they "misunderestimate" the intelligence of the American People?
;-)
