I would love for the CIA
to publicly give it to him.

I mean, they must be biting their tongues so hard.

First one of their own (Valerie) is outed as a revenge tactic against her husband for speaking the truth. Her career is ended and her life put in jeopardy to send a message to the entire CIA to play ball.

Then, the CIA gets blamed for everything from 9/11 to the Iraq War even though we know that the war was something Bush* wanted from day one and was willing to do anything to get it.

They must want to scream.

Can they?

I know the military is not allowed to say anything negative about the Commander-in-Chief (Uniform Code of Military Justice Article 88). Can members of the CIA?

1. The last president to really declare war on the CIA
was Kennedy. I don't remember exactly what happened from that, but I know he was assinated a bit afterward. But, its completely unrelated. Just a coincidence...

I am suprised that the CIA is wilfully taking it up the... well, lets just say taking it from the administration.

9. They can pick their time. It might be happening with all the
crap hitting the fan. It may not be one big thing, it might be a thousand cuts.

2. I agree...it would be very interesting to see what the CIA does...
can they? Sure, why not?
I'm very curious to know what is going on behind the scenes. I'm
sure that there is going to be A LOT of arm twisting on this and
they're definitely are going to look for somebody to "fall on their
sword"...

3. I read there was a shit-storm in the making
and the CIA is just waiting until its closer to election time. They probably won't kill anybody but there is a serious amount of damage they can do to Bush's re-election plans. Raul Groom wrote an article on in DU a while back called "The Great Spark Hunt" or something to that effect.

5. I heard a talking head on CNN a few minutes ago that
Tenant should resign and David Kay should become the head of the agency. I still can't believe my ears.

4. I think the CIA has been cowered by the
outing of Plame. They know none of them are safe from the shrub if they don't do as told.
