Poll question: Will Cheney still be the VP candidate in 2004?
I've heard rumors that he might not be viable. He wouldn't be able to run in 2008 if Bush manages to pull off a win in November.

3. I know there's been talk about replacing Cheney
with Rudy Guiliani but unless they add some position for Evil Genius I can't imagine Cheney stepping aside.

4. yes, political suicide to dump him now
Too close to the election and while spaceshrub is in a free fall back to earth. If it was seen he was admitting ANOTHER failure by dumping the halliwhore.

8. I thought Joe Lieberman was the VP?
He and Gore did get the most votes, right?

Guiliani is a pro-choice, pro-civil unions, pro-gun control adulterer. Adding him to the ticket would be a total disaster as far as the Republican base is concerned.

Cheney wields huge power, without having to take the brunt of the media spotlight. Bush is just a punching bag. You can take that to the bank.
