Can someone please answer this for me?
Hello,

I have one question! How in the world did Oliver North and Mark Furman ever get jobs, after all of the mess these two men were involved in?

Tim

3. Gopers uphold lying, cheating, stealing & drug addiction as virtues
not 'sins'.

4. Fascists like to hire fascists
Fox news is run by Roger Ailes, who is a republican propganda chief. He ran PR for Bush's Dad.

Fox News is the propaganda arm of the right wing and by current extension the Bush administration.

Both these people you mention are highly experienced liars.

They like liars on Fox.

5. very simple answer
They are mouthpieces for the cons and thus, any illegal actions they take are ignored.

The business world if filled with people who, on the rare chance they are caught and the even rarer occasion they are convicted, they usually move right back into their old company. Or, they get television shows ala Scarborough, North, and other right-wing pukes.

I guess it is their version of compassionate conservatism. That is, be compassionate to conservatives. As Bush* has shown his entire life, for them, there are no negative consequences for criminal actions.

6. I dunno. Ask G Gordon Liddy.
Ask Otto Reich. Ask John Poindexter.

As others have noted, loyalty is the primary law of Republicans. You can lie, cheat, steal, murder, rape, and pillage, and they'll back you to the hilt.

But snitch on them, and you'll never work again. Just compare what happened to the Watergate/Iran contra people who testified truthfully versus those who lied to protect their masters. The truth-tellers were banished. The liars were promoted.
