How stupid does the president think the American people and the rest of the world is.. Everyone would like to be investigated by someone that they pick. I think Kennedy should pick the panel.. they are talking about a one yr investigation--that's bull, if we can repair a Vehicle on Mars we can get those facts in a month and if it can't be, then Bush should step aside from his presidency until after the fact are out.

you want Bush to step aside pending the investigation? That would leave Cheney in charge. I trust him even less than Bush. Unless the whole admin stepped aside, I don't think it would make much difference.

The only change that would come of Bush stepping down would be for the worse. He's only the figurehead, but as long as he's there, there are a few lines they won't cross. They'd dump their whole apple cart if they did.

but it should go without saying, Cheney,Rice, Powell, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitx, Perle,Woolsly and the whole gang should be put on hold and be accountable for what they have said or done to get us in this mess.
