Somehow I think we're missing parts of these stories, like the "friendly banter" shared before one of these fights, etc. That * though, he's a uniter, not a divider - now even people in B.C. hate Washingtonians...

SQUAMISH, B.C. - "I was just pleading with them, 'Leave us alone you've killed my brother! what do you people want?'"

Brad Meyer says remembers the night of horror. He and his two brothers and a friend went on a ski vacation last February in Whistler, B.C. As they walked to their condo a gang of more than 30 teenagers threatened and started beating them. One teen threw a huge rock at Brad's brother Jeff, hitting him in the head.

"Blood was everywhere, it was just gushing out of his head like a fountain of blood," says Brad. "I was just trying to put pressure on it and keep him conscious because he was slipping in and out of consciousness."

I recently read a report of a man chastising a group of youths for throwing stones at ducklings in Vancouver. They ATTACKED him. Unfortunately these occurrences are but a sympton of the underlying fatal illness of our societies...

There's a 'Christian college' (read: a fundamentalist training center) in the Vancouver suburbs. It tends to bring a lot of violent nutcases into the area. One of the favorite past times for these 'people' is to go cruising downtown looking for gays to beat up.
