There's an election in 9 months
And it would really be to our advantage if Bush really fucks something up. For his daddy it was having to raise taxes but unfortunately it seems like this won't happen. Since not finding WMDs doesn't seem to be enough are there any ways that he could destroy his chances at re-election?

4. "He could continue being himself."
Another two weeks like the past two and he's going to start drinking again. Which brings to mind the thought that he's the only person I know of who is less dangerous when drunk.

3. That's not the right way to look at it...
If we have to rely on George W. Bush to do something to hand the election to us, we're doomed. We don't have any control over what HE'S going to do. We only have control over what WE'RE going to do. So from our perspective the question should not be what's HE going to do to lose the election, it should be what are WE going to do to win it?

6. Exactly, nine months to produce a plan for a brand new revitalized
United States. We do well to consider the gestation, right now, rather than hoping for someone else to toss us the baby!

5. he is f'ing it up
through I would point out that at the current rate of casualties in Iraq there will be over 900 dead by November 2nd. The capture of Saddam Hussein won't count for a whole lot by then if the body bags are still coming home. I'd hate to win the election that way, as there are many, many other valid reasons for ejecting this president from office, but the American people only seem to pay attention when US soldiers are harmed.
