5. Don't forget to boycott the advertisers . . .
. . . that bought time during the Super Bowl. I'll be posting a list and writing to each of them to let them know why they are being boycotted.

I've got way more choices in beer than I need. Post that list and we'll keep it kicked.

10. Oh, oh, oh
Time to cancel my Mastercard! Any recommendations? Visa? AmEx? Diners Club?

TeeYiYi - when you post the final list in its own thread, ask for suggestions (and make your own too) for alternate brands. Should generate lots of discussion and good information.

I actually have a VISA card so I hope they don't have a commercial slated for today. On the other hand, I wouldn't mind if AT&T ran something so that I would have a good excuse to switch to Verizon. And Apple has been a pretty decent company as far as not outsourcing jobs to other countries so I hate to see them on the list. I think there will have to be some discussion once the list is posted, but at the very least, they will all be receiving a letter from me explaining my opposition to politically biased media censorship.

Thanks for the post gristy. :hi:

Edited to specify 'politically biased media' censorship.

9. I am truly amazed that CNN is playing it. Did we have to buy the time or
will it just be part of the news coverage? I've seen it, and it is pretty harmless. Shame on the super bowl for not letting us run it. And I hear (true???) that Bush will be allowed to run some kind of ad

Oh yes - somebody be sure to tell what the "secret guest" or whatever it is. Don't watch sports enough to keep up with it.
