6. Not really surprising- for an internet poll, especially

People most likely to respond have pretty strong feelings one way or another. When you add into the equation the fact that the whole set of questions is inherently divisive (and have little connection to one another) I think the results would be surprising if they showed that there was much of a center.

7. yeah, I understand that...
I guess the reason I noted it was for candidates like LIEberman and Gephardt, who've said the game is appealing to the center, rather than the base. I think energizing the base is the key, IMHO.
