No particular significance other than the 11th would be "too obvious" and anything in October would bring up "October surprise" political talk.

Sept 20 is late enough not to wear off before the election.

But I do think they will produce him before the election - even if it means invading Syria, Jordan, Pakistan, Iran and or Saudi Arabia to do it.The way other things are going, they will feel this is their only sure ticket to win - and won't care how many people are killed on the way.

They'll let us enjoy our little short-lived bounce before they drop the Big One. Their convention in NYC will become an orgy of celebration and patriotism. They'll expect the euphoria to last the entire six weeks until the election. But they'll be wrong and they'll lose any way...

his numbers are tanking. People are beginning to ask a lot of questions. I think that Osama could be "caught" as early as late Spring or early Summer. That way, the repugs can run one a commercial showing their "prizes" Saddam & Osama and the person "responsible" for their capture-shrubbie with the inevitable voice-over of "He put an end to the war on terrorism and caught our most dangerous enemies." Except he's a far bigger threat to this country than either Osama or Saddam ever was.

Hell,I think it would be fun. It would have to be narrowed down to the hour and minute,there would be several guess the same day. Maybe DU could give out a small prize or something.

Thats my hope too that some media would pick up on it showing how freaking obvious it will be when Bush "just happens" to pull UBL out of his hidey hole.
