Can we vote some of these stories off the news?
Kobe Bryant
Martha Stewart
Michael Jackson
Scott Peterson

There would be a great market out there for a "People's News Network" that would cover only the stories that people voted for. Votes would be held every week over the Internet where people could decide what stories were covered by the network, and which stories were eliminated. So if the people got tired of Kobe Bryant, Michael Jackson, etc. they could simply vote them off of the news and never have to hear about them again.

1. damned good idea
I imagine that in a free country, with a free press, such a thing would be feasible...

2. Why then we would have to hear the REAL news.
You know, boring stuff like an administration taking a nation to war on false pretenses. Not only war, but pre-emptive war!!! Or things like how many soldiers are dying in Iraq. Or that beefy mad cow thing that we guess just went away... or our environment being raped...and on and on and on and on.

5. Amen
I am sick of Kobe, Jacko. Martha is being framed. How about cheney and his secrets, bush and his secrets, rumsfeld and his war failure, Good stuff like that. They should stop lying to us and give us the info. They take care of bush and protect him. I send e-mails to the press all the time. We all should. by the way my paper (Boston Globe) said dennis miller is boring. He is the new guy right,

4. Unfortunately, they would vote for those stories over
"boring stuff" like the police state of America, etc. What we need is for tabloid stuff to be aired on "E" channel or for broadcast stations, "Entertainment Tonight" type programs.
