Five minutes into the first show, Dennis Miller declares...
..."I'm voting for Bush." This came only moments thoroughly serviving Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who told him "You're the reason I got elected! All of your hard work! Going up and down the state saying Arnold is great! That is what did it!"

I mean, seriously...

Is it less effort to watch Dennis Miller than it is to stick one's fingers down one's throat?

Are you masochistic?

Change the channel before your eyes erupt in flames and boil out a molten mess running down your face, for Jeebus'sake...

A quarter's worth of investment never gave me so much therapy before this.

13. So far all utter horseshit......
Paraphrasing:

Miller: Was liberal, now liberal to think as conservatively as possible.
//Verbatim schtick that I've seen on 3 different programs now. He couldn't even write a brand new lead for his show. Idiot.

Miller: Bush, gooder. He saves us from terror!

Arnie: People want a leader that doesn't flaunt their intellect with fancy words, and NUMBERS(LOL! facts...hmmmm).

Miller: Deficits, bad!

Arnie: Deficits, Bahd! Inherited deficits, Bahd!
//Hmmm, I recall Bush inheriting a surplus and now we have projected 474 BILLION dollar debt. Funny no mention so far......

Folks, this crap so far, even for regurgitated Republican crap, is as dry as week-old toast. I get a feeling that Miller realizes this as well. He looks and sounds TIRED! If you despise Miller, as many do, you don't have to worry, his show won't be around for very long. I predict this after watching for 14 minutes. Kind of like, "you don't have to eat a whole egg to know it's rotten." I will probably tune in occasionally just to watch him suffer with that "employee at the Scotch Tape store waiting for the mall to close down" look on his face that he has now. Good riddance Miller....

15. The sound of one hand clapping...
I haven't been sitting in front of the TV for the entire first half hour so I don't know if this is filmed before a live audience or not, but during his "news" segment (read: Dem bashing), you could hear between one and three people weakly chuckling when you heard anything at all (other than a high, lonesome wind and the tumbleweeds rollin' across the barren highway).

And you're right, DWolfman...this boy looks really, really tired. Almost sick.

Note to Dennis: Enjoy your Neilsens, cha-cha.

in front of the cheesiest backrop I've ever seen

Naomi Wolf, sandwiched between Miller, David Horowitz, and David Frum

I turned up the sound long enough to hear Miller say something about conserves probly being embarrassed by David Kay's report.

After Horowitz started to demur, I turned sound off

at least there's ONE sane person on the show

beside the CHIMPANZEE he had on at the very beginning

...on David Kay's statements, saying that we had no WMD and over 500 American soldiers were killed, and Miller said (I am NOT making this up):

"And do you think that George Bush, as a human being, isn't torn up over this?"

She's worth waytching...as Miller and his male whore friends are spinning this into "Bush did the right thing," she YELLED "Did you read the PAPER today???"

35. I love this show
I do. I hope Horowitz and Frum are on every night. Maybe my head will explode, and I won't have to listen to these people cover up the lie with more lies.

I don't know what it was about this show, but it just made me feel relieved. I can't explain it. Not relieved, but just something. Not hatred. Not anger. But something.

You watch this stuff, and you just see how everything is out of everyone's control.

Horowitz blames the "liberals in the universities" for the fact that the US ARMY doesn't have anyone that can speak Arabic. Maybe I'm stupid, but does that make sense?

Where's Arnold borrowing all this money from? Miller asks doesn't anyone in Sacramento know that they were spending all this money, and that it would lead to massive debt. But he says nothing of his new buddy in Washington, and that's a debt on a global scale.

I hope I can watch this show everynight. I hope it drives me crazy. At least then, maybe I wouldn't know they were lying.

59. It doesn't matter to CNBC/GE
They'll keep this show on the air, even if it costs them money. GE will simply subsidize it. This show is nothing more than a slick infomercial that is meant to spew pro-corporate/neocon propaganda. This is one of the hidden ways corporations get around Federal election finance laws and spend unlimited amounts of money to promote the candidate or policies of their choice. That is the true value of it to GE.

They don't plan to make money from advertising revenues on this show.
