1. I don't know that we are capable, PeteNYC....
There is an area that we are deficient in and I don't think it is intelligence? There is so much negativity. I fear for the posters here at DU...because we cannot stand outside ourselves and look at things from an historical perspective.

2. I agree....
There is a lot of negativity here. DUers seem content to eat each other and point out their differences rather than their similarities. We have to reverse this.

3. This wider view is found at DU
when folks take on a project and the folks who pitch in to help come from all sides in the cult of personality debates. This very clearly happens with the BBV research, it happens in efforts to support the Guy James Show, and it happens in every thread where folks share information or views.
