Poll question: If a Republican gene were discovered would you vote to require abortion .
Edited on Wed Jan-21-04 06:50 PM by 9215
Consider this situation: If a human gene showing a predisposition toward a conservative political view was discovered, let's call it the "Conservative gene", or "Homo Fascisti gene" would you vote for requiring an abortion of unborns carrying this gene?

1. Neither
If there were a Republican gene, how much do you want to bet that the Republicans would require abortion on all fetuses who didn't have it.

I don't go in for determinism. We make our own destinies to some extent, I like to think that my choices are meaningful.

2. Silly poster. Republicans hatch from eggs.
Then they slither into the swamp, and emerge 50 years later with jowels and a power tie.

4. I realize you are trying to be funny

6. Locking
This treads close to advocating eugenics and is fodder for those who'd speciously allege Coulteresquely that 'leftists' support abortion on a whim. While probably intended as whimsical or humorous, the Lounge is a better place for humor.
