Press Herald SOTU Poll (Maine)

State of the Union
In the State of the Union address Tuesday night, President Bush said the economy is in recovery. To keep it growing he stressed the need to continue administration policies such as tax cuts - which he wants to be permanent. To encourage job creation he proposed several measures to bolster education. The Democratic leadership criticized the tax cuts as ineffective and proposed cuts to boost job creation. Are you satisfied with the economic strategies of the Bush administration?

After watching the post-SOTA on ABC last night, I wanted to drive a sharp object through my ear canal and into my brain.

NH Dems, saying they'll vote for Bush again.

Small business owners saying they're excited about his insurance plans (which I don't recall him going into detail about).

UNEMPLOYED laborers, saying they are encouraged and excited about the stimulated economy.

I felt like screaming, "YOU PEOPLE HAVEN'T LEARNED AT G.D .THING IN THE LAST 3 YEARS, HAVE YOU?"

Apparantly, according to this poll, they have.

Thanks for the post. I can place all sharp objects away now.

R~

3. You can always find some people who don't make any sense...
When IQ falls under 100 (the average, by definition) anything is possible...

4. But "This is NH"
My husband (while holding me down and grabbing sharp objects out of my hand) kept reminding me that, "This is NH...they think differently..."

Obviously.

5. hey! wait a minute-
i'm from N.H.-

We're really just people like every one else- and there are fools to be found and interviewed in any state.

Actually, i was pretty appalled at that woman saying she was definitly going to vote for Bush, but i believe she also said 'again'- some people would rather repeat thier mistakes, than admit they are wrong.-

Bush lost the primary here last go round- i'm looking forward to him losing the main election here this fall, - it's not an impossibility-
