Official State of the Gas Prices thread
They're through the &%$*@!% roof, that's where they are. Maybe it has something to do with those $34 barrels of oil. Maybe it has something to do with Jr.'s WEAK DOLLAR policy that is causing those oil and gas prices to skyrocket. What an economic genius he is. "Let's make people pay higher prices for imported goods". Geez, why didn't I think of that.

1. Stagflation 2 ???
It's the WORST of both worlds. A low dollar and a depressed economy.

Bush is ushering in a new era of stagflation.

2. Do the words
oil company profit skimming mean anything to you? It is going to be like enron only with oil and gasoline.

5. You'll look back fondly in a few years
at the days when you paid $1.80 a gallon.

Blame in on geology. Mother Nature didn't produce enough oil for a billion people to drive SUVs for 100 years.

7. CBS News.............
actually had the balls to say that it was a consequence of.....now get this........an improving economy! What utter bullshit! The economy is improving they say, so there's a higher demand. :eyes:
Right from the White House talking points.
There was no mention whatsoever of numbnuts taking so much oil off the market to 'replace the strategic reserves' (at grossly inflated prices to once again help his oil buddies).
I went throught the freakin' roof over that.
