D - Ohio is on now. Making some good points about college debt and tuition hikes, people losing health care bennies, high-tech jobs going to india and china. trade deficits going up and up and up.
NAFTA sucks. listing all the corporations that moving jobs overseas.

mentions handing * a letter to on AF 1, but was ignored by *: she sees him later and asks him why he didn't respond to it. Chimpy winks at her and says your letter must have gotten lost in the mail. The jackass didn't bother to ask her for another letter.

She seems like a good congresswoman, I wish she were mine instead of the republican dork I got now.

4. Elijah Cummings
d maryland on now. Member of congressional blk caucus. points out irony of MLK wreath lay, followed by the cross-burning pickering nomination.

america has lost nearly 3 million jobs.

* won't mention the unemployment rate of blacks tonite. * won't mention of only 1000 jobs created in one month.

people of all races can't cloth family, feed their kids. people tired of looking for work, have given up.

* promised in last year's SOTU Every vote will be counted. Then Cummings mentions a march at A&M university (historically black school in texas) protesting action of the atty gen in texas. (Huh? Imust have missed the news story about this protest??)

Cummings asks: can we get a little help at home, instead of sending it all to Iraq. Pell grants cut by the 'lil dictator. kids are just trying hard to be good people, can't afford it. Tuition up, $$ for school grants going down.

9 million unemployed will be listening to * tonite.

Please protect our right to vote, and have our votes counted.

yields to B. Lee

5. Barbara Lee
THE REAL STATE OF THE UNION TODAY

On now, basically asking "what color is the sky in Bush's world?"

She brings up *'s uranium lie in the SOTU last year. the lie was used to spin the war at this time last year, so you better listen close to the speech this year.

* won't talk about job loss tonite. he'll say homeland security, but really there is no security in courts, also a lack of first responders

*'s idea of health care system reform is expanding profits for insurance cos. instead of expanding health care to all of us.

This nation went to war because * admin were determined to do so. They didn't NO WMDs found, even tho they said there were 10s of thousands there.

mlk birthday--* made a mockery of it by appointing pickering the next day.

* to propose 120 million for job training, which is GREAT! but remember, * made $800 million in cuts job training since moving into the people's house.

6. Jim McDermott up now
editorial from the independent the real state of the union entered into the record.

Bringing up stop loss orders in military.

Now pointing out that the surplus * inherited has vanished. we are left with deficits by "Sir Smirks alot."

Will * rename Rummy the Secretary of War? Doubt it, but it's accurate because America is making war.

Mentions the sham tax cuts to most of us serfs. Contracts a serf's cut to the size of Snarl's tax cut.

You can't eat the stock market, you gotta have a job.

Mentions all the dirty damaging deals that wingnuts in congress have passed on Friday afternoons.

Talks about nation's addiction to oil. Will we break this addiction or will we continue *'s oil wars in the mideast?

the question we should be asking tonite is are WE better off, NOT are you better off. What is the common good, mr. prez?? good for all us, great, the the dems will support *. but if it's good only for those in munitions corporations, then we arent'
