Poll question: What does Kerry's win mean to you?
Edited on Mon Jan-19-04 10:33 PM by BackDoorMan
If Kerry indeed wins big, what does it mean to you, now
that Kerry will be the frontrunner?

And who if any, should drop out (besides Geppy)?

1. It means the most qualified for the job won
despite the only media coverage he's recieved the last few months (except the last week) is that his campaign is stagnant, sputtering, etc.

3. The DLC got their candidate so Hillary can run in 2008, but
I'm commmitted to voting to whomever we nominate! We must send Bush back to TX ASAP!

2. It means that Dean bashing has taken hold...
and the Repugs are happy since they considered Dean the greatest threat of the bunch. ....and I'm not for Dean...I'm undecided...but it doesn't bode well. I will support whoever wins.

Go after Bush/Cheney/Rove they truly are (the people's) fascist enemies!

They believe in corporations rights over the people and workers.

8. Give me a break
Did you watch any of the caucuses on C-Span? Was Terry McCauliffe whispering into the ears of the gullible Iowans so Dean wouldn't win?
The media attention Howard Dean recieved the past few weeks is just a fraction of what he'll face going up to Bush in November. It's better to recognize that he can't deflect the criticism it now, rather than in November.
I was a previous supporter of Dean, I think what he has done to the Democratic Party the past 6 months has been crucial, but I just don't think he's ready to make it at this point in time. He is just too easy to dismiss by the media we have, and unfortunately, that means everything this day in age.

11. Yes

Is there a "they" that decides these things? I think it's more than just the DLC; just look at the lockstep media and how they all adopt the same meme at the same moment.

6. It's means if it's not Bush,
it will be one of his neighbors on the "Hill". DLC,DNC,BBV....politics seems to be an alphabet soup, like SOS (same old shit)

9. If the same holds somewhat the same in New Hamshire...
Edited on Mon Jan-19-04 10:59 PM by BackDoorMan
New Englander, Joe Lieberman should drop out.

North Easterner, Al Sharpton should as well...

And leave the big five...Clark, Dean, Edwards, Kerry and dark horse and the only liberal, Kucinich to fight it out through March.

Although it's going to be tough to stop what the DLC wants to force on us.

Who will the Unions support now?
